Parent University Designed to provide parents, families and caregivers answers to questions and access to information on a variety of topics relating to raising children, education and self-improvement. The program, loosely based on The Parent Academy in the Miami-Dade school district, is off to a successful start, hosting hundreds of parents in the Charlotte area since the first class debuted on September 16. A new schedule of curriculum is being developed for 2009.
Classes are open to all parents of students - public, private and home school. Through involvement and continued education, we can help our children achieve success!
