Action Sports & Tennis Camp prides itself on teaching kids of all ages and skill levels the basic skills required to become a good athlete while having fun.

The Day camp consists of tennis training for both new and experienced players with a break for swimming and lunch. In the afternoons students have the opportunity to play other sports from Golf to Basketball, as well as down time in the air-conditioned club house to play air hockey or enjoy a movie.

The Sardis "Action Sports Camp" is a terrific way for kids to explore new ways of actively having fun, establishing new friendships and learning the fundamentals and skills of an array of sports. 8:30am-5pm.

This week-long adventure fosters inventive-thinking skills, science literacy, history and the arts in five activity-oriented modules.

In the Innovate Program, build a motorized creature and learn about alternative sources of energy, recreate a virtual world and become an entrepreneur, and explore the surprising mathematical connections between soap bubbles and lightening bolts.

In the Create Program, return home from an alien planet, green up and rebuild a polluted town, and build miniature amusement parks. In both programs, younger children create fantasy inventions while older children work in teams to build complicated, multi-step machines that solve a challenge! Summer camps at Cedarhill Farm provide a fun, safe, educational week of horse-riding and horse-related activities for beginners through intermediate riders ages 7 and older.

Held weekly during the summer in our 3 outdoor rings, camps are taught by highly qualified, enthusiastic instructors, who along with assistant instructors and great school horses, provide small group instruction in all aspects of horsemanship. Cedarhill offers three unique camps: Beginner Horsemasters, Intermediate Travel Camp, and Advanced Showmanship. Life in the 18th Century: Explore 18th century life at this summer camp. Campers will learn about colonial trades, colonial cooking, the lives of colonial soldiers and more. Camp activities will include living history demonstrations, crafts, interactive games, and historical reenactments.

Beneath the Badge: Experience the life of a Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Officer while exploring the Beneath the Badge exhibit at the Charlotte Museum of History. Our camp program offers a fun, safe and educational experience for your son or daughter!

On-horse activities include instruction on mounting and dismounting, proper hunt seat equitation at the walk/ trot and canter. Advanced riders will learn to jump over fences. Trail rides are popular as well as fun games that improve knowledge and balance. Advanced camps will include off-site trips to Cane Creek for trail riding, WNAA in Monroe for cross country riding, and schooling over fences at other local farms.
